Brace of Pheasants is an award-winning traditional 16th century grade II listed thatched inn nestled in the Dorset country side, 9.5 miles from Dorchester.

We serve a delectable range of traditional and contemporary cuisine with a real flavour of Dorset.

As you would expect, situated in the heart of Dorset, we have fabulous produce on our doorstep and we pride ourselves on fresh, tasty food. We are equally passionate about our wine and we have worked closely with wine suppliers and wine maker Chris Piper to produce a balanced list to enhance and compliment your food – select a trusted favourite or an exclusive vintage from our wide range of local Dorset wines and wines from all the popular regions around the world. Also, being a traditional, freehold pub we serve cask ale from the various local microbreweries around Dorset.

ACCOMMODATION

Relax in stylish and comfortable rooms each with its own unique charm and a view over the countryside.

We have eight luxury en-suite bedrooms, four garden rooms in the old converted skittle alley and the remainder upstairs above the pub, all with well-appointed bathrooms – everything you would expect in a top-flight en suite. We hope you like them as much as we do. Our accommodation includes a scrumptious breakfast and guests have access to free WIFI and off-street parking.
